Strategic Partner Manager Intern (TikTok Shop – Operations) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is a leading destination for short-form mobile video, focused on inspiring creativity and bringing joy to its users. This role supports the TikTok Shop US operation team, a group dedicated to making TikTok a premier commerce channel for merchants, creators, and affiliates, and pioneering content and creator commerce in the US. The intern will help scale the #TikTokMadeMeBuyIt phenomenon, contributing to building an innovative, secure, and intuitive e-commerce ecosystem that offers a unique customer experience to over a billion users globally.

• Pay: $23.75 hourly
• Team: TikTok Shop US operation team, responsible for building the TikTok E-commerce partnership for the US business.
• Mission: This person will help scale TikTok’s e-commerce presence by managing and incubating creators to uplift their gross merchandising value and generate best practices for the team.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Manage a roster of creators or creator agencies, providing end-to-end support on operational matters.
• Strategy: Support creator partnerships through data analysis and the development of business strategies.
• Growth: Incubate new creators, enhancing their e-commerce selling capabilities and significantly increasing their gross merchandising value.
• Insights: Generate and share best practices, learnings, and insights derived from creator operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s Degree, with a good understanding of livestreaming platforms, technologies, and industry trends.
• Experience: Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026, demonstrating self-motivation, results-driven work ethic, and the ability to operate independently.
• Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Majors in economics and management are preferred.
