Charity Event Coordinator (Entry Level) | Harvest Events
The Tone:
This is an entry-level, in-person role at Harvest Events, located in Charlotte, NC. Harvest Events operates as a community-focused outreach and event marketing firm, partnering directly with respected nonprofit organizations. The firm’s core mission is to significantly increase public awareness, foster long-term support, and boost charitable giving for these causes through live events and face-to-face engagement. In this role, you will be on the front lines, representing these vital nonprofit partners in the community. You will connect individuals with meaningful causes, educate them on their missions, and facilitate their involvement, thereby playing a direct part in expanding the impact of these organizations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Representation: Actively represent various nonprofit partners at diverse local community events and outreach campaigns.
• Public Engagement: Engage directly with the public in a professional, friendly, and informative manner to generate interest and awareness for charitable missions.
• Supporter Guidance: Educate individuals comprehensively on each organization’s mission, specific programs, and the overall impact they create, then guide them through the donation and sign-up processes.
• Event Logistics: Provide essential assistance with the physical setup, coordination, and breakdown of event sites, while diligently tracking all engagement and donation activity during events.
• Professional Development: Actively participate in ongoing, structured training sessions specifically focused on enhancing communication, leadership, and practical event coordination skills.
