This is a part-time internship at SERES AUTO_USA, located on-site in Milpitas, CA. • Mission: Support the HR team in streamlining recruiting, onboarding, employee administration, and overall HR operations to ensure efficiency and a positive employee experience.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with familiarity preferred for HRIS systems such as ADP Workforce Now and SAP.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Interview Coordination: Coordinate and schedule interviews between job candidates and hiring managers, communicating effectively with both parties throughout the recruitment process.
• Recruitment Support: Assist the HR team with candidate tracking, recruitment administration tasks, and support pre-employment activities such as background checks and essential employment documentation.
• Onboarding Management: Prepare all necessary onboarding materials and required employment documents, then conduct and coordinate new hire orientation sessions to ensure a seamless and positive start for new employees.
• Employee Records: Maintain and regularly update employee records, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and strict confidentiality of all information.
• HR Operations: Support various employee lifecycle processes, from initial onboarding through employment changes and offboarding, while also assisting with HR documentation, filing, record retention, and responding to routine employee inquiries.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a closely related field. Candidates must also be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without the need for sponsorship now or in the future.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are strictly required for this internship. However, previous administrative or internship experience in a professional setting is considered a strong advantage.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and maintain the ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, is also required.
• Bonus: Familiarity with standard HRIS systems, such as ADP Workforce Now or SAP, is preferred. An understanding of general recruitment processes would also be beneficial for this role.
