Charity Event Coordinator (Entry Level) | Harvest Events
The Tone:
This is an entry-level, in-person role at Harvest Events, located in Charlotte, NC. Harvest Events builds a community-focused outreach and event marketing firm that partners with nonprofit organizations. This role matters because it directly connects individuals with meaningful causes and helps nonprofits expand their impact through personal, in-person conversations and engagement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Representation: Represent nonprofit partners at local community events and outreach campaigns.
• Engagement: Engage with the public in a professional, friendly, and informative manner.
• Education: Educate individuals on each organization’s mission, programs, and impact.
• Facilitation: Guide supporters through the donation and sign-up process.
• Logistics: Assist with event setup, coordination, and breakdown.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position focused on community outreach and event support.
• Experience: No prior experience required; full paid training is provided.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills; outgoing and confident speaking with new people; coachable with a willingness to learn; reliable and professional work ethic; passion for community impact and charitable causes.
• Bonus: Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, or volunteering is a plus.
