Creative Designer Intern (TikTok-Design-LIVE) – 2026 Summer | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, primarily associated with the Los Angeles, CA area, for students pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy globally. This role is crucial for the TikTok LIVE Design team, focusing on crafting impactful campaign visuals that blend creativity and drive growth, helping to shape the future of LIVE.

• Mission: Translate campaign briefs into compelling, polished visuals that inspire audiences, drive growth, and meet stakeholders’ needs for the LIVE platform.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliverables: Translate campaign briefs into compelling visuals, ensuring they are engaging, polished, and aligned with stakeholders’ needs.
• Project Management: Own requests end-to-end and support larger, more complex projects, delivering work on time and following process specifications with minimal guidance.
• Collaboration: Partner with operations and stakeholders to clarify design needs and deliver solutions that resonate across diverse audiences.
• Quality Assurance: Apply design theories, diverse perspectives, and platform specifications to produce high-quality outputs that scale effectively.
• Continuous Learning: Actively learn new tools and techniques, share knowledge with peers, and stay updated on industry and platform trends.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree.
• Experience: Able to commit to working for 12 weeks during Summer 2026, with a most recent portfolio submitted with the application for consideration.
• Skills: Experienced knowledge in Illustration, 2D/3D Visual Design, UI Design, and AIGC, combined with familiarity with design processes to consistently deliver within specifications and meet campaign standards.
• Bonus: Fast learner with the ability to quickly apply new knowledge and workflows, and self-motivated, curious, and proactive in driving your own development.
