Seller Live Project Intern (TikTok Shop Operations) – 2026 Start (BS/MS) | TikTok

The Tone:
This is an internship at TikTok, located in Los Angeles, CA. TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy globally. This role is crucial for the Live Team, which drives projects to boost Live GMV growth on TikTok Shop US, helping to differentiate TikTok in the competitive e-commerce landscape. Interns gain industry exposure and hands-on experience by engaging in impactful short-term projects that provide real-world professional experience.

The TL;DR

• Team: Live Team, a centralized group driving horizontal and cross-platform projects aimed at boosting Live GMV growth on TikTok Shop US.
• Mission: To be responsible for developing and implementing live streaming strategies that promote the efficient growth of categories and seller live streaming in the US.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategy Development: Formulate incentive policies for US sellers’ live streaming through levers such as traffic, governance/experience, subsidies, commercialization, and seller live streaming tools.
• Product Enhancement: Build and improve product capabilities designed to help sellers grow, including specialized seller tools and data platforms.
• Seller Growth: Explore and define growth paths for seller live streaming across different business types, improving seller capabilities through diagnostic analysis, benchmarking, and curriculum development.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and maintain seller live streaming performance, regularly monitoring key metrics to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Student currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in Business or a related field.
• Experience: No specific years of prior professional experience are explicitly required for this student internship.
• Skills: Proven skills in logical, systematic, and critical thinking; strong business analysis ability; effective communication and coordination; resource integration; and project management ability, along with proven learning ability, execution ability, and stress resistance.
