Quality Engineer Intern | Minth North America, Inc.

This Quality Engineer Intern role is crucial for supporting the quality engineering team in ensuring that all products are manufactured to the highest possible standards.
The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person
• Team: Reports to and works alongside the Quality Engineering team, with mentorship from senior engineers.
• Mission: Assist the quality engineering team in ensuring that products are manufactured to meet the highest quality standards.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), statistical analysis tools and techniques, quality control tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA), CAD software or other engineering tools.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Quality Assurance Support: Support the inspection, testing, and auditing of products, including gathering and analyzing data to track quality performance.
• Documentation Management: Maintain and organize quality documentation, test reports, and process control records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Process Improvement: Assist in identifying process inefficiencies and suggest improvements, working with senior engineers on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Root Cause Analysis: Participate in problem-solving activities to identify the root causes of quality issues and support the investigation of customer complaints and non-conformance.
• Product Testing Assistance: Aid in the setup and execution of product testing and quality validation processes to ensure products meet established specifications and standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Student pursuing a degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail to identify issues and inconsistencies, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), excellent written and verbal communication skills, fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Bonus: Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing), knowledge of statistical analysis tools and techniques, experience with quality control tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, MSA), and basic knowledge of CAD software or other engineering tools.
