2027 Summer Internship | Bloom Energy
The Tone:
This is a full-time summer internship at Bloom Energy, with positions located in San Jose/Fremont, California or Newark, Delaware. The TL;DR

• Pay: $36–$39 hourly
• Team: Interns will be part of a team within one of the company’s various organizations, including Engineering, Finance, Marketing, or IT.
• Mission: Contribute to the advancement of clean, reliable, and affordable energy solutions for critical industries and a sustainable future.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Contribute: Contribute to key projects and initiatives within an assigned organization such as Engineering, Quality & Reliability, Service, Customer Installations, Commercial and Sales, Finance, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, or Facilities.
• Develop: Assist in developing solutions based on solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) and solid oxide electrolyzer (SOEC) technologies that provide unparalleled time-to-power capabilities, reliability, and sustainability.
• Apply: Apply academic knowledge and analytical skills to real-world business challenges in the clean energy sector.
• Engage: Engage in a comprehensive 10-12 week on-site program, gaining practical industry experience and exposure to Bloom Energy’s operations.
• Collaborate: Work collaboratively with experienced professionals and team members, contributing to the company’s goal of tackling the most pressing challenges of the 21st century.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in an accredited program and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, or PhD degree. Core academic fields of study include Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related engineering disciplines, as well as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Communications, and other related majors.
• Experience: This is an entry-level internship opportunity; no specific years of prior professional experience are required. Students are encouraged to apply to this role and will be sourced for specific opportunities as they are posted throughout fall 2026 to spring 2027.
• Eligibility: Candidates must be on track to graduate between spring 2027 and summer 2028 to be considered for this internship program.
