The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: 12 Hour Night Shift
• Location: In-person, Athens, GA

• Team: Clinical Services, working under the supervision of an RN or Nurse Manager
• Mission: This person is responsible for accurately monitoring and documenting patient cardiac rhythms to support nursing staff and patient care.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Rhythm Monitoring: Obtain, analyze, and accurately document patient rhythm strips under the supervision of an RN.
• Order Processing: Interpret and process physician orders.
• Unit Maintenance: Maintain telemetry units to ensure operational readiness.
• Communication: Answer phones to facilitate communication within the clinical services department.
• Patient Support: Perform limited patient care, such as feeding, dressing, grooming, bathing, toileting, and vital signs, under the supervision of an RN or Nurse Manager.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school graduate or GED equivalent; BLS certification required.
• Experience: 1 year of telemetry and clerical duties preferred. Hospital or clinical experience preferred.
• Skills: Computer skills required; medical terminology preferred.
• Bonus: Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
