The Tone:
Venture Starters is a public service platform that supports startups by connecting them with investors and future team members. This program offers individuals an insider’s view of how startups are built and funded, providing direct exposure to founders and investors. It enables participants to witness how ideas evolve into funded companies and potentially find a separate startup to intern for.

The TL;DR
• Role: Summer Intern
• Mission: Provides participants with first-hand exposure to the startup ecosystem and connects them with potential startup internships.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Attend Meetings: Observe startup founders pitching real companies during 2-hour Zoom sessions.
• Engage with Community: Learn from investors sharing their criteria and watch early-stage teams form.
• Identify Opportunities: Connect with startups of interest for potential separate internship opportunities.
• Obtain Certification: Complete 8 meetings to receive a Certificate of Completion for your professional profiles.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Interest in startups, entrepreneurship, or venture capital.
• Experience: Ability to attend 2-hour Zoom sessions; experience with events or communities is a plus.
• Skills: Comfortable working independently and remotely.
