About the Role
This Academic Year internship offers the opportunity to work on real projects within NBCUniversal’s Advertising & Partnerships division, contributing to meaningful work across two full semesters. Interns will be part of a collaborative culture, gaining support to grow and build skills while helping the division connect content with advertisers, brand partners, and consumers, and maximize media effectiveness for clients. What You’ll Do
• Work on real projects and contribute to meaningful work across two full semesters.
• Apply quantitative modeling, optimization, AI/ML to real-world advertising challenges and design and test algorithms (Data Science).
• Support the development and execution of comprehensive roadmaps for business insights via dashboards, reports, and self-service modules (Business Intelligence).
• Support the collection, standardization, and management of NBCUniversal’s owned and licensed data products and assets (Identity & Data Product).
• Rotate across multiple program management leads to gain hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of advertising products (Program Management).
• Support cross-functional initiatives and learn how advertising products are built, launched, and scaled (Program Management).

You’re a Good Fit If You
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program (September 2026 through April 2027).
• Are not a December 2026 graduate.
• Have a current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and do not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future.
• Are not currently on any student or exchange visa (e.g. F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1) unless able to change or adjust to another status that grants work authorization without NBCUniversal sponsorship.
• Must be available to work 16-24 hours per week from September 21, 2026 – April 23, 2027.
• Are willing to work in New York, NY.
• Have an active Social Security number to complete I-9 form within 3 days of hire.
• Are curious, driven, and excited about media, entertainment, and technology.

Bonus Qualifications
• Class standing of junior or above.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Comfort with qualitative & quantitative data analysis, a strategic approach to problem solving, and ambiguity (Business Intelligence).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities (Business Intelligence).
• Understanding data modeling, joins, and blending (Business Intelligence).
• Experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker) (Data Science).
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and PowerPoint (Data Science).
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data analysis and pipeline development (Data Science).
• Familiarity with SQL and Snowflake for data manipulation and querying (Identity & Data Product).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and tools like Databricks (Identity & Data Product).
• Understanding data privacy concepts and clean room technologies (Project management).
• Currently pursuing a degree in business, communications, technology, media, or a related field (or equivalent experience) (Project management).
• Interest in program management, product development, advertising technology, and/or media businesses (Project management).
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (Project management).
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with a variety of teams and stakeholders (Project management).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once (Project management).
• Willingness to learn project tracking and workflow tools such as Jira or Smartsheet (Project management).
