What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop Solutions: Architect, design, develop, test, and deploy highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable software systems and microservices.
• Guide Technical Growth: Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers, ensuring best practices and quality through code reviews.
• Drive Product Development: Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineering teams to define requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Enhance System Performance: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, improve system reliability, and optimize existing codebases for efficiency and maintainability.
• Explore New Technologies: Research, evaluate, and implement new tools and technologies to improve development processes, product quality, and system architecture.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, with a strong focus on backend software development.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software development, including extensive experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Skills: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C#, Node.js); solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and software development best practices (version control (Git), testing, CI/CD, agile methodologies); familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes); excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bonus: Experience with distributed systems, fault-tolerant architectures, message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), event-driven architectures, or working in a highly regulated industry. Contributions to open-source projects or a portfolio of personal projects are also a plus.
