Delivery Expert – Domino’s (VAZ Restaurants, LLC.)
VAZ Restaurants, LLC. is comprised of 29 Domino’s Franchise locations and GROWING! There are lots of opportunities for growth, development, and promotion within our organization.

Pay
$20.00 per hour, plus tips and mileage.
Job Responsibilities & Duties
As a Delivery Expert, you will play a crucial role in our team, handling both delivery and in-store tasks. Your responsibilities include:
- Driving safely and efficiently to deliver orders to customers.
- Operating all store equipment, including ovens and dough shapers.
- Stocking ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers.
- Preparing various Domino’s products according to company standards.
- Receiving and processing telephone orders accurately.
- Taking inventory and completing associated paperwork.
- Cleaning equipment and the facility daily to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assisting with inside tasks periodically such as food preparation and general cleaning.
Required Qualifications & Skills
To be a successful Delivery Expert, you must meet the following criteria:
Driver-Specific Requirements:
- Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Driver’s License:
- Must have a valid driver’s license for at least the last 2 years minimum, licensed in the US.
- Must be able to prove licensed driving history for at least 2 years.
- Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last 2 years (suspension cannot be at the start of the 2-year period).
- Driving Record: Must meet company standards with a safe driving record, including:
- No more than 1 violation and 1 at-fault accident within the last 2 years.
- No more than 2 violations and 1 at-fault accident within the last 3 years.
- No more than 3 violations in the last 3 years.
- No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
- Moving citations (e.g., speeding, vehicle safety) count as violations.
- Seatbelt and inoperable brake light citations do NOT count as violations.
- No distracted driving/inattentive driving violations within the last 3 years.
- No serious violations allowed in the past 5 years (e.g., Drugs/Alcohol, Leaving the scene, Failing to report an accident, Reckless/careless driving, Vehicular homicide, Hit and run, Speed contest, Eluding police, Making a false police report, Driving while suspended/not licensed, Speeding 30 MPH or faster over the posted speed limit).
- Vehicle & Insurance:
- Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
- You MUST be an insured driver on the insurance policy for the vehicle.
- Vehicle must be registered.
- Ensure that your vehicle meets safety standards as per periodic inspections.
- Availability: Must be available to work holidays and weekends (mandatory).
General Job Duties for All Team Members:
- Operate all equipment.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
- Prepare product.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility daily.
Communication Skills:
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
- Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills/Abilities:
- Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator use allowed).
- Must be able to make correct monetary change.
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
- Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
- Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Work Conditions
You will be exposed to:
- Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
- In-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas.
- Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters including walk-in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing Requirements:
- Talking and hearing on the telephone.
- Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks.
- Depth perception.
- Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments:
The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements (including, but not limited to the following)
- Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
- Walking: For short distances for short durations. Surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36″ and 48″.
- Sitting: Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
- Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3′ x 1.5′. Cases are usually lifted from the floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72″ high.
- Carrying: Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves. Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store. Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray.
- Pushing: To move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24″- 30″ and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push. Trays may also be pulled.
- Climbing: Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.
- Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at the waist is necessary at the pizza assembly station for approximately 30-45 seconds at one time, repeated continuously. Forward bending is also present at the front counter and when stocking ingredients.
- Crouching/Squatting: Performed occasionally to stock shelves and to clean low areas.
- Reaching: Performed continuously; up, down and forward. Workers reach above 72″ occasionally and down to perform tasks like scooping cornmeal or washing dishes. Workers reach forward when obtaining topping ingredients, cleaning work surfaces, or answering phones.
- Hand Tasks: Eye-hand coordination is essential. Use of hands is continuous during the day. Frequently activities require use of one or both hands. Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists. Workers must manipulate a pizza peel and rolling cutter. Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes. Team Members must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids:
Team Members may be required to utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Periodic Delivery Vehicle Inspection
Motor vehicles used for business purposes, including making deliveries, must have the following items inspected under the supervision of franchisees and store managers at the start of employment and periodically thereafter:
- Headlights
- Turn signals
- Tires
- Rear-view mirror
- Taillights/Brake lights
- Brake pressure
- Windshield wipers
- Doors
- Backup lights
- Exhaust system
- Horn
- Safety belt
Any motor vehicle that does not pass the inspection must not be used to operate for business purposes. These inspections are not intended to replace extensive mechanical inspections by a professional, and the vehicle operator is responsible for the safe operating condition of his/her vehicle.
