• Mission: Ensure continuous, high-quality production of molded parts by setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting plastic injection molding processes.
• Tech Stack: Excel, Access, Email

What You’ll Actually Do
• Process Management: Read, write, and utilize process Setup Sheets to mold quality parts to specific print specifications.
• Equipment Setup & Maintenance: Ensure Injection Molding Machines, Inco Heaters, DME Heaters, Barrels, Screws, and all auxiliary equipment are in working condition and set to proper specifications for quality part production.
• Troubleshooting & Quality Assurance: Detect and correct manual machine malfunctions or product defects, adjusting parameters as necessary, and proficiently troubleshoot plastic injection mold processing problems.
• Documentation & Monitoring: Complete first-off-last-off documents accurately and actively monitor molding presses to ensure consistent production of good quality products and tool cleanliness.
• Operational Support: Perform startup and shutdown of injection molding machines, diagnose any issues that arise, and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Ability to comprehend simple and moderately complex instructions, make sound decisions under pressure, and maintain a good attitude as a team player.
• Experience: Two years of injection molding processing experience; one year of Injection Molding setup of Mold bases and extremities.
• Skills: Basic computer proficiency including Excel, Access, and Email; ability to work independently, follow directions precisely, and adhere to all Safety Procedures and protocols.
• Bonus: Demonstrated experience working with hand tools; demonstrated experience performing basic electrical wiring; knowledge of lean manufacturing principles.
