What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Development: Lead the design, development, and implementation of new features and enhancements across core web platforms, covering both front-end and back-end components.
• Collaborate & Translate: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements and user stories into deliverable technical solutions.
• Architect & Optimize: Architect and develop scalable APIs, microservices, and optimize database schemas to support various application functionalities and future growth.
• Resolve Issues: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks in various environments, ensuring high availability and system stability.
• Mentor & Improve: Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering technical excellence, and contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and development infrastructure.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical professional experience. This is a senior-level role requiring a strong foundational understanding of software development principles.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development, demonstrating a strong command of both front-end and back-end technologies, including modern JavaScript frameworks and scalable backend services.
• Skills: Proficiency in front-end frameworks (React.js strongly preferred), expertise in back-end languages (Node.js preferred), solid experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, proven ability to design and build RESTful/GraphQL APIs, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Bonus: Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools, test-driven development (TDD), microservices architecture, event-driven systems, message queues, web application security best practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
