The Tone:
This is a part-time, seasonal coaching role located in Paso Robles, CA. This position is vital for cultivating athletic skills and teamwork among 7th and 8th-grade girls, specifically for the water polo program at Lewis Flamson Junior High School and Georgia Brown Dual Immersion School, contributing to their physical development and community engagement.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Instruct: Provide direct, structured water polo coaching and fundamental skill development to girls in grades 7 and 8.
• Lead: Strategically plan and execute effective team practices and supervise all competitive events for the junior high girls’ water polo teams.
• Oversee: Manage all operational aspects of the water polo program, including ensuring the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during activities.
• Develop: Guide student-athletes in enhancing their water polo abilities, promoting sportsmanship, and encouraging personal growth through athletic participation.
• Communicate: Maintain transparent and timely communication with school administration at both Lewis Flamson and Georgia Brown schools regarding program needs, schedules, and athlete progress.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Possesses and maintains current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and First Aid certifications, critical for student safety.
• Experience: No specific minimum years of experience are strictly required, however, prior coaching experience in water polo or related athletic fields is highly desired for this role.
• Skills: Demonstrates proficiency in emergency response protocols through current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• Bonus: Previous coaching experience, particularly with junior high-aged athletes or in water polo, is a valuable asset to this position.
