Human Resources Intern | Ferrovial

This Human Resources Intern role is essential for supporting the daily operations of the HR department, ensuring efficient employee record management, smooth onboarding processes, and clear staff communications. The TL;DR

• Team: Reports to the HR Manager or Generalist.
• Mission: Support the daily operations of the HR department through administrative and coordination tasks.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Copilot

What You’ll Actually Do
• Employee Records: Process new hire paperwork and efficiently update employee information.
• Onboarding: Coordinate and facilitate smooth onboarding procedures for new employees.
• Data Management: Maintain and update HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Reporting & Communications: Prepare and analyze reports related to HR metrics and distribute staff communications regarding HR policies.
• Recruitment Support: Assist the Recruiter by scheduling interviews, posting job advertisements, and managing candidate communications.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a demonstrated interest in human resources and recruiting processes.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in an office environment.
• Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications, strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
• Bonus: Bilingual Spanish/English, prior HR experience, or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
