What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Acquisition: Engage in outside sales activities by identifying potential clients and building strong relationships through cold calling and direct outreach.
• Territory Management: Assist in managing territory sales by analyzing market trends and developing strategies to expand the customer base.
• Solution Presentation: Conduct service demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, upselling solutions that meet specific client needs.
• Prospect Tracking: Support lead generation efforts using CRM software to track prospects and manage follow-up activities.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with management on business development initiatives to identify new opportunities and improve existing sales processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or related program, with an early career level interest in sales, marketing, or management.
• Experience: Demonstrated enthusiasm for outside sales, B2B transactions, and understanding sales cycles.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients; familiarity with CRM software; strong analysis skills to interpret conversations and guide client interactions.
• Bonus: Prior experience in retail sales, cold calling, or account management.
