What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Engagement: Create a welcoming atmosphere by engaging guests in friendly conversations and making eye contact.
• Transaction Processing: Efficiently scan groceries, process sales, and accurately handle all monetary transactions.
• Product Handling: Thoughtfully bag items to ensure products are protected until they reach the guest’s destination.
• Service Support: Stay informed on promotions and advertisements to effectively assist guests with their questions and purchases.
• Station Maintenance: Keep the register station organized and fully stocked with all necessary supplies.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Fundamental understanding of retail sales and guest service principles to provide outstanding support.
• Experience: Proven ability to accurately process merchandise transactions and manage cash and other payment methods at a register.
• Skills: Effective communication with customers and team members, strong accuracy in reading, counting, and writing for precise transactions, and the capability to operate necessary equipment.
