Behavior Therapist – Beyou Behavior Therapy

Beyou Behavior Therapy is seeking a compassionate and motivated Behavior Therapist to join our growing team. This role offers hands-on experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families.

Position Details

  • Position: Behavior Therapist
  • Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour (starting at $22/hour, higher with experience)

Where and How You Can Work

  • Location: In-person sessions in Oakley, Brentwood, Antioch.
  • Settings: Home, school, and community-based environments.
  • Schedule: Part-time.
  • Required Availability: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM.
  • Hours: Minimum 10 hours per week; 15–20 hours maximum per week.

What You’d Be Doing In This Role

You’ll work directly with children on the autism spectrum, providing play-based therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your work will help children build essential life, communication, and social skills while supporting families in meaningful ways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver one-on-one, play-based ABA therapy.
  • Implement behavior intervention plans designed by a BCBA.
  • Support the development of communication, social, and self-help skills.
  • Collect and record session data as required.
  • Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Follow all physical and safety requirements specific to each client.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, tutoring, coaching, teaching).
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to commute within the service area.
  • Consistent availability Monday–Friday from 3:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (F-1 students seeking OPT paid opportunities are welcome).
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Completion of TB test, physical exam, and proof of vaccination.
