Summary

Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, the Part Time Custodian cleans and maintains the school building and grounds, sets up equipment for special events, and assists school personnel with work requests.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Hours per day: 3.9
• Days per year: 237
• Salary Grade: 2
• Hourly Rate: $16.11 (based on the 2025-2026 Support Salary Table)
• Note: Promotions result in a 5% minimum increase.

General Function / Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Facility Manager, the Part Time Custodian’s responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and maintaining the school building and grounds.
• Setting up equipment for special events.
• Assisting school personnel with various work requests.

Educational Requirements:

• Ability to read and write and perform basic mathematical calculations.

Knowledge & Ability:

• Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
