Creative Summer Internship | Giant Noise

The Tone:
This is a paid internship at Giant Noise, located in Austin, TX. Giant Noise is an integrated marketing and advertising agency based in Texas, specializing in combining PR, creative services, and marketing strategy. The company focuses on crafting newsworthy stories for its diverse client base through earned media, comprehensive social media management, strategic influencer partnerships, and compelling brand storytelling. This role is a hands-on opportunity, essential for supporting the Creative team in producing high-quality visual content for major brands across Austin and beyond, with a strong emphasis on visual storytelling, social media content creation, and branding.

• Mission: This person will own the support for the Creative team, contributing to the development and production of high-quality visual content essential for client social media channels and overall brand storytelling initiatives.
• Tech Stack: Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Rush), Google Suite, social media platforms

What You’ll Actually Do
• Content Development: Assist the team in developing engaging visual and textual content tailored for a variety of client social media channels.
• Production Support: Provide hands-on support for photo and video shoots, including managing equipment, contributing to food styling, and stepping in as a model when needed.
• Content Editing: Utilize industry-standard software to professionally edit and refine photo and video content, ensuring it meets client and agency standards.
• Content Planning: Collaborate closely with the Digital Intern to strategically plan and curate comprehensive social media content calendars.
• Creative Contribution: Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh and innovative creative ideas for client projects and campaigns.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career.
• Experience: Must have access to reliable transportation and a valid driver license for occasional on-site support; demonstrated experience in photography, videography, and/or motion graphics.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Rush, for various creative tasks.
• A strong aesthetic sensibility and keen attention to detail, crucial for producing high-quality visual content.
• Proficiency in Google Suite applications and familiarity with various social media platforms for content management and collaboration.
• Excellent organizational skills, coupled with the ability to multitask effectively and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic agency environment.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to set and achieve personal goals, alongside strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Bonus: Preferred candidates will be enrolled in an accredited college or university, actively pursuing a degree in Photography, Videography, Fine Art, Marketing, Digital Media, or Communications.
