What You’ll Actually Do
• Proctoring Services: Coordinate the timing and administration of make-up exams for students, ensuring verification of student identity, enforcement of time limits, and reporting any incidents to faculty to maintain academic integrity.
• Alumni Database Development: Establish and continuously maintain a comprehensive Business Division alumni/alumnae database through diligent utilization of primary and secondary research methods.
• Administrative Support: Assist with essential tasks such as taking classroom attendance, accurately entering and recording attendance records into designated databases, and ordering necessary office supplies using college procurement systems.
• Division Engagement: Provide assistance with various Business Division events as they arise, and actively participate in bi-weekly division staff meetings to contribute to team discussions and planning.
• Office Upkeep: Contribute to the overall organization and regular upkeep of the Business Division office, ensuring a tidy and functional environment for staff and students.
The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree is required, with applicants needing to obtain acceptance into Southwestern College’s MBA program for this Early Career Graduate Assistant role.
• Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office and Teams applications is essential, coupled with the ability to dedicate approximately 20 hours weekly to position duties during normal business hours.
