Job Title
Finance Systems Intern
How You Will Make An Impact
As a Finance Systems Intern, you will participate in various activities to gain valuable exposure to Continental’s Finance operations, contributing to projects that enhance financial systems and support accounting functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Systems and Accounting groups by providing assistance on daily tasks and ongoing initiatives.
- Work on project-based tasks specifically related to accounting/finance systems, gaining hands-on experience in system implementation and optimization.
- Administer external tools vital to the Key User organization, including Tire Knowledge Force, Resource allocation software, and the current shipping tool, ensuring their efficient operation.
- Assist with structuring and updating the Americas Key User Organization ConNext page to significantly improve its usability and relevance for internal SAP Users.
- Provide internal and external financial audit support by accurately pulling data tables and supporting documents from the eRP system.
Required Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
- Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program.
- Enrolled in school for at least 12 months and able to dedicate 12 months toward this internship.
- Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri).
- Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.8 or higher.
- Minimum sophomore standing or higher.
- Intermediate Excel skills and experience with other Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Access).
- Available to come onsite to the Tire HQs in Fort Mill, SC 3 days/week (Mon-Fri).
Preferred Qualifications
ADDITIONAL WAYS TO STAND OUT
- Junior or higher class standing.
- Coursework in Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Management.
- Advanced experience in Excel.
- SAP experience.
- Able to work 25+ hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri).
