Finance Systems Intern | Continental
The Tone:
This is an internship at Continental, located in Fort Mill, SC, with a hybrid work model. Continental is a global technology company and a leading tire manufacturer dedicated to making mobility safer, smarter, and more sustainable. As a Finance Systems Intern, you will gain valuable exposure to the company’s Finance operations, contributing to projects that enhance financial systems and support core accounting functions.

• Team: Finance Systems and Accounting groups, supporting the Americas Key User Organization.
• Mission: Enhance financial systems and support accounting functions by assisting with daily tasks, projects, and system administration.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Access), Excel, Tire Knowledge Force, Resource allocation software, shipping tool, eRP system, SAP (preferred).
What You’ll Actually Do
• Support: Assist the Finance Systems and Accounting groups with daily tasks and ongoing initiatives.
• Project Work: Engage in project-based tasks specifically related to accounting/finance systems, gaining hands-on experience in system implementation and optimization.
• Tool Administration: Administer external tools vital to the Key User organization, including Tire Knowledge Force, Resource allocation software, and the current shipping tool.
• Page Improvement: Structure and update the Americas Key User Organization ConNext page to significantly improve its usability and relevance for internal SAP Users.
• Audit Support: Provide internal and external financial audit support by accurately pulling data tables and supporting documents from the eRP system.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program with a minimum sophomore standing or higher, maintaining a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Experience: Enrolled in school for at least 12 months and able to dedicate 12 months toward this internship, available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri).
• Skills: Intermediate Excel skills and experience with other Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Access).
• Bonus: Junior or higher class standing, coursework in Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Management, advanced experience in Excel, SAP experience, able to work 25+ hours per week during normal business hours (Mon-Fri).
