Position Summary

The University of Georgia, a Division I member of the Southeastern Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Academic Services Graduate Assistant. This is a 10-month appointment, beginning in August 2026 and concluding in May 2027. The successful candidate will work approximately 13-20 hours per week and will primarily assist the Academic Services Team with daily operations and related administrative tasks of the UGAAA (University of Georgia Athletic Association) tutoring program.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • 50% – Assist the Academic Services Team with daily operations and related administrative tasks of the UGAAA tutoring program.
  • 30% – Assist the Associate Director of Academic Services with executive tasks.
  • 10% – Oversee the Rankin Support Staff Council.
  • Other – Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification In Position:

  • Acceptance into a University of Georgia graduate program.
  • Ability to enroll in at least 9 graduate-level credit hours per semester.
