What You’ll Actually Do
• Business Development: Unlock new business opportunities and partner with the sales team to close sales.
• Customer Growth: Identify ways to expand the business with existing customers.
• Program Creation: Assist in crafting engaging programs about Verizon products for customers.
• Customer Support: Partner with the team in resolving customer problems and recommending solutions.
• Sales Operations: Manage sales tracking and schedule appointments for the team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Sales, Business, Political Science, Marketing, Communications/Public Relations, or a related major, with an expected completion date between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Experience: Ability to participate in a hybrid 10-week internship from June 2026 to August 2026 working a full-time schedule. Authorization to work in the U.S. without restrictions or need for future sponsorship.
• Skills: Willingness to work in Rolling Meadows, IL, and to travel and relocate. Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Bonus: Previous experience interacting with customers. Experience or knowledge of contract management, procurement strategy, market research, and sales.
