The successful candidate will be assigned to greet visitors and guests, taking their coffee or food menu selections. This role is critical for ensuring order accuracy, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the timeliness of service. A significant part of the responsibilities includes maintaining a clean and organized work environment, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and guests with a friendly demeanor.
- Prepare coffee, tea, and other food menu selections according to customer specifications.
- Ensure order accuracy, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain timely service delivery.
- Clean all assigned work areas, including sweeping and mopping floors and cleaning refrigerators.
- Re-stock food and non-food supplies in work areas efficiently.
- Create hand-crafted, quality beverages.
- Operate cash registers and credit card machines accurately.
- Address customer concerns or questions professionally, working to maintain good customer relations and speedy delivery of beverages.
- Remove garbage and boxes from the department following policy and procedure.
- Record temperatures of food, freezers, and refrigerators daily to ensure safety standards are met.
- Work in the dish room, cleaning all necessary items daily.
- Sweep and mop floors in the serving and dining areas.
- May be cross-trained for other positions within the department to enhance flexibility and support.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills in all interactions with patients, visitors, Physicians, co-workers, hospital, and supervisory staff.
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of stroke and initiate a stroke alert overhead as needed.
- Verbalize the stroke alert process clearly and efficiently.
- Maintain currency in stroke knowledge by completing the annual 1-hour online training.

Additional Qualifications:
- Previous Retail/Food Service experience is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of hospitality experience is preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wellington, FL.
This is a fully onsite position in Wellington, FL.
Pay And Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $18.00 – $19.00/hr.
