Associate, In-Store Demonstrations | Crossmark Inc.

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Crossmark Inc., operating within various retail locations. Crossmark, as part of Acosta Group’s Product Connections, specializes in reimagining how people connect with brands through retail events and demonstrations. This role is vital for directly engaging consumers, showcasing products, and driving sales, thereby strengthening brand connections at the point of purchase. You will be instrumental in delivering brand solutions and moving consumers down the conversion funnel.

• Tech Stack: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF forms, internal electronic systems, personal computer or mobile device applications

What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute: Successfully conduct in-store food and non-food product demonstrations according to assigned work.
• Engage: Proactively intercept, interact with, and sell products to consumers in a professional and positive manner.
• Prepare: Set up the event table, prepare and serve food samples using small appliances and knives, and maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation.
• Administer: Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements and expense reports on the day of event execution.
• Collaborate: Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training in customer engagement, sales, or food preparation is preferred.
• Skills: Ability to gain comprehensive product knowledge, effective communication of features and benefits, proficient use of small appliances and cleaning chemicals, and basic computer navigation skills for internal systems and applications.
• Bonus: A local Food Handler’s Permit may be required, and bilingual skills could be beneficial based on business necessity.
