In-Store Demonstrations Associate | Product Connections
The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Product Connections, located in various retail store environments. Product Connections, part of the Acosta Group, is a marketing agency that specializes in connecting consumers with brands through in-store events and demonstrations. This role is central to that mission, reimagining how people interact with brands across their shopping journey. You will bring products to life, directly influencing consumer engagement and driving sales through professional and knowledgeable demonstrations, fostering connections that move consumers down the conversion funnel.

• Pay: $14 hourly
• Mission: Connect consumers with products through engaging in-store demonstrations to drive sales and brand awareness.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF forms, company’s electronic systems, personal computer or mobile device.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Conduct Engaging Demonstrations: Acquire in-depth product knowledge and proactively intercept consumers to professionally demonstrate products, communicate their features and benefits, and drive sales in a positive manner.
• Execute Event Setup and Operations: Prepare, serve, and break down products, equipment, and supplies, including proper setup of the event table and use of small appliances like microwaves, fryers, and coffee makers.
• Maintain Professional Standards: Consistently uphold a professional appearance and ensure the workstation remains clean, sterile, and safe, adhering to all cleaning chemical protocols.
• Foster Store Relationships: Build and maintain positive rapport with store personnel to effectively achieve company and client objectives for each demonstration event.
• Manage Administrative Reporting: Accurately complete and submit all required online reports and expense reports on the same day as event execution, utilizing company electronic systems, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF forms.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED), ready to learn and apply product knowledge in a retail setting.
• Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training is preferred, demonstrating an aptitude for consumer interaction and product representation.
• Skills: Ability to proactively engage and sell to consumers, prepare and serve food samples using small appliances, maintain workstation cleanliness, and use electronic systems for reporting.
• Bonus: Local Food handlers permit (if required) and bilingual skills (if business necessity dictates).
