About the Job: Associate, In-Store Demonstrations
Product Connections, an Acosta Group company, is seeking a dynamic and engaging Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing products to life through engaging in-store food and non-food demonstrations, connecting consumers with brands, and driving sales.
Job Description
As an Associate, you will be the face of the brands you represent, executing impactful in-store demonstrations. Your primary responsibilities include:
- Completing in-store food and non-food product demonstrations.
- Acquiring and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of the products you represent.
- Preparing, serving, and efficiently breaking down product, equipment, and supplies.
- Proactively intercepting consumers and demonstrating products in a professional and engaging manner.
- Maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements and retailer dress codes.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Possessing the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of represented products.
- Having the desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicating the features and benefits of the product to potential customers.
- Ability to prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe work station using appropriate cleaning chemicals.
- Maintaining a professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job and specific retailer dress codes.
- Properly setting up and preparing the Event Table for execution.
- Achieving 100% execution on assigned work, ensuring all demonstration guidelines are met.
- Assisting with preparation for client visits and completing any necessary audit corrections.
- Building and maintaining strong rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Completing expense reports accurately and in accordance with Company Policy.
- Accurately preparing and submitting all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
- Ability to access the internet, navigate through the company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
Compensation
The hourly compensation for this opportunity is $17.00.
This role is typically a part-time position, not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week. However, the company maintains the discretion to change the role based on business and/or client needs.

Qualifications
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
- Proficient in the ability to use and navigate on a personal computer or personal mobile device using applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Local Food Handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands
The associate will be regularly required to:
- Stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects.
- Reach with hands and arms (including conducting tasks overhead up to 65 inches).
- Talk and hear.
- Have visual ability to read instructions and perform events.
- Stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up on a ladder, and balance.
- Lift and carry up to 25 pounds (with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds).
- Push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully laden with appliances, supplies, and product.
- Prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, such as cooking utensils, knives, convection oven, coffee maker, electric fryer, and microwaves.
- Be in contact with cleaning supplies.

Work Environment
- Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance
- Individuals must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming is in order. The associate must present a neat, clean, and appropriately groomed appearance. Specific Retailer Dress code requirements are included in the training documents.
Language Skills
- English is the primary language skill; however, bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
