Associate – In-Store Demonstrator | Crossmark Inc.

The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Crossmark Inc., operating as Product Connections, performing duties in a retail store environment. Product Connections, a part of Acosta Group, is a full-service marketing agency specializing in retail events and shopper marketing. This role is crucial for connecting consumers with leading brands, driving sales through interactive product experiences, and building positive relationships with shoppers and store teams.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Demonstrate: Successfully execute in-store food and non-food product demonstrations.
• Engage: Proactively intercept, interact with, and demonstrate products to consumers in a professional and persuasive manner, aiming to sell the product.
• Prepare: Safely prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, including setting up and maintaining a clean and sterile workstation.
• Build Relations: Cultivate and maintain positive rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
• Administer: Complete expense reports and accurately prepare and submit all online event requirements on the same day as execution.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; equivalent experience also considered.
• Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device and internal systems, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Adobe PDF. Ability to safely prepare and serve food samples using various small appliances. Primary language skill is English.
• Bonus: A local Food Handler’s Permit may be required; bilingual skills are a plus based on business necessity.
