Associate, In-Store Food & Non-Food Demonstrations | Product Connections (Acosta Group)
The Tone:
This is a part-time role at Product Connections, operating within a retail store environment. Product Connections, a part of the Acosta Group, is a marketing agency focused on creating direct connections between consumers and brands through engaging in-store experiences. This role is essential for bringing products to life, directly influencing consumer purchasing decisions, and strategically positioning items to guide customers through their shopping journey. Your contributions will be tangible, helping to deliver effective brand solutions and foster consumer conversion.

• Mission: This role is responsible for executing engaging in-store product demonstrations to connect consumers with brands and strategically position products for sale.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Adobe PDF forms, company electronic systems, internet access, personal computer or personal mobile device
What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Knowledge: Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of all products to be demonstrated, ensuring accurate communication of features and benefits.
• Consumer Engagement: Proactively engage with consumers, communicating product features and benefits persuasively to encourage sales in a positive manner.
• Food Preparation & Safety: Expertly prepare and serve food samples using a variety of small appliances, including microwaves, fryers, skillets, and coffee makers, while strictly adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Workstation Management: Set up and prepare the demonstration event table meticulously, ensuring the workstation remains clean, sterile, and safe throughout the event.
• Administrative Tasks: Accurately complete and submit all required online reports and expense documents on time, utilizing company electronic systems and maintaining rapport with store personnel.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum high school diploma or GED; suitable for an Early Career individual.
• Experience: No specific years required; demonstrated proficiency in operating a personal computer or mobile device for company applications and internal systems.
• Skills: Product knowledge acquisition, consumer engagement and sales, safe food preparation and handling, workstation sanitation, accurate online reporting.
• Bonus: One to three months of related demonstration experience or training; possession of a local Food Handler’s Permit (if applicable by location); beneficial bilingual skills.
