Credit Analyst II (State & Municipal Credit Management) | TD Bank

• Mission: Conduct in-depth industry and financial analysis of existing and potential borrowers to ensure sound lending decisions.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Underwrite new loans for governmental borrowers, including state and local governments, municipal utilities, and housing authorities.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of governmental borrowers, conducting ongoing financial and industry analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive and concise credit write-ups to support lending decisions.
• Develop insightful and timely approval memorandums for presentation to appropriate lending and credit authorities.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and commercial loan policy, identifying deviations and suggesting alternative structures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: 4-year degree or equivalent experience with developed knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques.
• Experience: 2+ years of related experience in financial analysis.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and research skills, developed proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet software, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
