Kaizen Summer Sales Intern | Kaizen Marketing

This is an in-person internship at Kaizen Marketing, focusing on business development and sales. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience across key sales functions, including outside sales, territory management, and customer engagement. What You’ll Actually Do
• Engage Clients: Identify potential clients and build strong relationships through cold calling and direct outreach for outside sales activities.
• Manage Territory Sales: Assist in managing territory sales by analyzing market trends and developing strategies to expand the customer base.
• Demonstrate Services: Conduct service demonstrations to showcase features and benefits, upselling solutions that meet client needs.
• Generate Leads: Support lead generation efforts, using CRM software to track prospects and manage follow-up activities.
• Collaborate on Business Development: Work with management on initiatives to identify new opportunities and improve sales processes.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Candidates must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or a related program.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience is explicitly required for this internship role, though a strong demonstrated interest in sales, marketing, or management is essential.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively and build rapport with clients. Strong analytical skills for interpreting conversations and understanding client needs to guide them toward appropriate solutions. Ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Demonstrated enthusiasm for outside sales, B2B transactions, and understanding sales cycles.
• Bonus: Familiarity with CRM software. Prior experience in retail sales, cold calling, or account management.
