What You’ll Actually Do
• Patient Care Delivery: Deliver efficient and effective nursing care to achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient, resident, and family satisfaction after an orientation period.
• Care Management: Manage patient care by performing nursing assessments.
• Delegation and Supervision: Delegate aspects of care to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Nursing Assistants.
• Care Planning: Collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Information Exchange: Communicate patient information with assigned staff during and between shifts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Experience: Currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or awaiting licensure number, with completed schooling for RN licensure.
• Skills: Nursing assessment, patient care management, delegation, interdisciplinary collaboration, and effective communication.
• Bonus: Experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
