What You’ll Actually Do
• Support End Users: Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for end users.
• Manage Devices: Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Monitor Systems: Help monitor system performance and escalate technical issues as needed.
• Administer Accounts: Assist with user account setup, access management, and application permissions.
• Contribute to Security: Support cybersecurity efforts by helping with updates, patching, and security awareness initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Must be at least a sophomore-level student with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Prior knowledge of basic IT support concepts, networking fundamentals, or cybersecurity principles is beneficial for this role.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities; Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Ability to manage multiple technical tasks.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Windows OS, MacOS, or help desk systems.
