The Role: Tourism & Operations Intern

We are seeking passionate students or recent graduates eager to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of RV and campervan rentals and gain invaluable hands-on tourism experience at our Las Vegas Depot.

As our Tourism & Operations Intern, you will serve as the welcoming face of Indie Campers, guiding guests through their journey from an unforgettable start to a wonderful conclusion. What Will You Work On?

Front-Office Activities

• Customer service and sales: Handle guest check-ins and check-outs, complete guest registration, process payments, provide detailed explanations of campervan functionalities, clarify terms and conditions, and upsell road trip extras.

Back-Office Activities

• Operations handling: Align reservations with available campervans, meticulously verify and prepare campers, and organize road trip extras and kits.
• Quality control: Ensure campervans are maintained in optimal condition, identifying and addressing any potential maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Support activities: Assist the team in monitoring existing stock, coordinating the fleet of campervans, and troubleshooting operational issues as they arise.

Who Are We Looking For?

• You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration, or a related field, actively seeking an internship.
• You are fluent in English, possess a work permit (if applicable), and hold a valid driver’s license capable of operating both manual and automatic vehicles.
• You appreciate international environments and enjoy experiencing new cultures.
• You possess a natural ability to connect with people and demonstrate a strong customer service orientation.
• You have a problem-solving mindset, are eager to create solutions, and are comfortable with hands-on tasks.

The Indie Commitment

• Base compensation of $14 per hour for the duration of the internship.
