Ryan Gootee General Contractors LLC. is actively seeking motivated college construction interns to join our dynamic team. This internship is designed as a training position, providing students with invaluable opportunities to learn essential construction project management duties.

The core purpose of this position is to offer comprehensive support to our project teams, contributing to both current and new business initiatives. We proudly offer full-time internships, affording qualified candidates the chance to gain practical, hands-on experience across various phases of commercial construction projects.

The overarching goal of our internship program is to cultivate skilled builders and polished professionals, thereby strengthening the next generation of leaders in the construction industry.

As a College Construction Intern, You Will Have The Opportunity To:

• Work on a diverse range of projects and collaborate with multiple departments within the company.
• Gain in-depth understanding of company correspondence processes and protocols.
• Learn the intricacies of the project buyout process.
• Develop skills in reviewing and efficiently processing submittals.
• Acquire knowledge and practical experience in managing project budgets effectively.
• Understand and implement various change management processes.
• Learn how changes, clarifications, directives, Requests for Information (RFIs), and other project updates are accurately reflected on as-built plans.
• Master the essential steps and procedures involved in the project closeout process.

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a construction management, engineering, or a related academic program.
• Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency with relevant software.
• Demonstrate a willingness to work collaboratively and effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Exhibit a strong eagerness and enthusiasm to learn and grow professionally.
