Registered Nurse (RN) – New Graduate
SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital is a joint venture with Select Medical, dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) – New Graduate to join our team in Richmond Heights, MO.
Our inpatient rehabilitation hospital specializes in addressing the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges faced by individuals recovering from a variety of conditions, including:
- Brain Injuries
- Spinal Cord Injuries
- Neurological Disorders
- Orthopedic Issues
- Amputation
- Multiple Traumas
Position Details:
- Location: Richmond Heights, MO
- Schedule: Full-Time Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Compensation Starting: $35.00/hour
- Shift Differentials: Competitive for Weekends
- Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Your Role and Impact:
As a New Graduate Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with physicians and your preceptor to ensure the seamless implementation, assessment, evaluation, and follow-up of comprehensive care plans for our patient population. Key responsibilities include:
- Initiating an ongoing systematic assessment of the physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients and their families.
- Interpreting assessment data and information to develop a robust nursing care plan, which encompasses problem identification, nursing diagnoses, nursing orders, approaches, interventions, short/long-term goals, and thorough discharge planning.
- Actively participating as a productive member of the interdisciplinary team in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of rehabilitation goals.
- Ensuring that all documentation in the medical record is complete, factual, accurate, and timely.

Minimum Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited program for registered nursing.
- Valid State RN License is required upon start date. (Applicants may apply before being licensed, however, licensure is mandatory before commencing employment.)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at hire.
- Must have flexibility of scheduling to complete the requirements of the program.
