The Sales organization is the very backbone of Paychex, driving our growth and success by expanding our client base and increasing profitability across Core Sales, Human Resource Services Sales, or Major Market Sales divisions. As an Undergraduate Sales Intern, you won’t just solve problems; you’ll be an integral part of a team that creates innovative solutions, making a tangible difference for businesses nationwide. Unlock Real-World Sales Experience: Your Responsibilities Include:

• Collaborating closely with our elite sales team, you will help present prospective clients with tailored solutions designed to simplify their operations and enhance their business success.
• Presenting Paychex products and services directly to final decision-makers and end-users within our prospect universe, articulating value and addressing specific client needs.
• Actively prospecting for new clients and cultivating new referral sources through diverse channels, including telephone outreach, direct mail campaigns, participation in seminars, strategic current client visits, and other localized marketing initiatives guided by Sales management.
• Assisting Sales Leaders in coordinating and participating in key Networking Events and Trade Shows, representing Paychex and expanding our market presence.
• Conducting insightful research into industry leaders, competitive landscapes, and emerging marketing strategies to inform our sales approaches.
• Supporting the management and reporting of client relationship management (CRM) activities, ensuring data accuracy and strategic insights.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited College/University with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027 – Required.
• Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or enrolled in a dedicated Professional Selling Program – Required.
• Demonstrated high-level interest in Sales and Marketing, evidenced by coursework, extracurriculars, or prior experiences.
• Possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for effective client interactions and internal collaboration.

Compensation & A Commitment to Your Well-being:

In adherence to our commitment to pay transparency, we are pleased to offer a competitive compensation of $20 per hour for this position.
