Responsibilities
- Provide skills-based services to assist clients and families in meeting identified goals (example: coping skills education, parenting skills training, etc.).
- Work with children, adolescents and/or adults, as assigned.
- Link families to community resources, based on needs.
- Collaborate with other Georgia HOPE/HCA staff and community partners to ensure effective treatment, service provision, and case collaboration.
- Document case notes in the online electronic medical record system (CareLogic).
- Attend regular team meetings.
- Attend agency trainings, as needed.
Qualifications: Intern Position Requirements
- Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field.
- Possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with using the internet and Microsoft Word.
- Ability to navigate the online electronic medical record system (CareLogic).
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Ability to function as a member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and work cooperatively with other agency employees.
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally and ethically with clients, co-workers, and community partners.
