About The Role: Product Management Intern (Winter/Spring 2026)

We are seeking a Product Management Intern for Winter/Spring 2026 to join our team dedicated to developing vertical AI solutions. You will play a crucial role in solving specific industry problems for sectors such as home services, auto dealers, and healthcare providers.

Working directly with our product managers, you will contribute to building AI-powered features that address real business challenges within these verticals, impacting thousands of local businesses that rely on Podium daily.

What you will be doing:

• Research vertical-specific workflows to identify where AI can deliver the most significant impact.
• Become an expert in the operations of locally run businesses.
• Assist in developing knowledge bases and decision trees for industry-specific AI agents.
• Create metrics to measure AI performance in various vertical contexts.
• Collaborate with engineers to test and refine vertical AI features.
• Engage directly with customers to gather feedback on our vertical solutions.
• Identify key integration points with industry-specific systems and partners.
• Implement practical, data-powered AI tools – moving beyond just another chatbot.

What You’ll Learn:

• Practical experience working with LLMs and agent-based AI systems.
• Methods for integrating with vertical-specific software systems and data.
• Techniques for evaluating AI performance in real business contexts.

• Skills for translating customer needs into AI product requirements.

About You:

• Student in Computer Science or similar fields graduating between Jan – December 2026.
• Demonstrated experience building with AI technologies through coursework, side projects, or hackathons (e.g., creating custom LLM applications, fine-tuning models, or developing AI-driven solutions).
• Basic understanding of data analysis and machine learning concepts.
• Familiarity with at least one business vertical (auto, healthcare, home services) is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication skills.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-paced environments.
• Team player who takes responsibility and shares credit.
