Associate Product Manager – New Graduate Program | Relay

The Tone:
This is a full-time Associate Product Manager position at Relay, located in Raleigh, NC. Relay is a growth-stage tech company building the System of Action for Physical Operations, providing rugged smart radios and a cloud platform for frontline teams. This role is a vital part of Relay’s future, offering new graduates meaningful ownership from day one, accelerating their careers, and providing direct impact on products for Fortune 500 customers.

• Mission: Act as the crucial bridge between our engineering team and the rest of the business, translating customer needs, market signals, and stakeholder input into clear, well-framed problems for engineering to solve.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Product Strategy: Drive the roadmap for your product area, collaborating with Engineering to deliver viable, high-impact products.
• Product Delivery: Contribute to the end-to-end product lifecycle, including ideation, research, development, launch, and post-launch analysis.
• Customer Engagement: Develop a deep understanding of users through interviews, data analysis, and direct engagement to identify innovation opportunities.
• AI Integration: Collaborate with engineering to fine-tune AI models and proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML to enhance products and insights.
• Cross-functional Liaison: Bridge communication between engineering and business stakeholders by providing context, absorbing friction, and ensuring alignment on product goals.

The Must-Haves
• Background: New graduate with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027, holding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related technical or business field.
• Experience: Minimum GPA of 3.5.
• Skills: Strong blend of business and technical acumen, hypothesis-driven problem-solving, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, curiosity about emerging technologies (especially AI/ML), and comfort with ambiguity.
• Bonus: A builder mindset, the confidence to form and defend a clear recommendation, and an eagerness for direct collaboration with technical teams.
