About the Internship

This summer internship offers a valuable opportunity to support the Security team at IDEMIA Public Security. The intern will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the organization’s protective controls, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of security operations while reinforcing best practices across the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Security team in the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the organization’s protective controls.
  • Help monitor security systems for alerts, anomalies, or irregular activity, contributing to proactive threat detection.
  • Support risk assessment processes and policy reviews, ensuring alignment with current security standards and best practices.
  • Assist with the comprehensive documentation and updating of security procedures and protocols.
  • Help coordinate access control requests, ensuring proper authorization and adherence to security policies.
  • Contribute to incident response activities under direct supervision, learning critical procedures for managing security events.
  • Participate in various projects aimed at strengthening both physical and information security measures across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in College.
  • Pursuing a major in one of the following fields: Homeland Security, Engineering, Political Science, or Criminal Justice.

Work Arrangement & Compensation

  • This is a hybrid role, requiring the intern to be able to travel to the office as needed.
