The New York Islanders Hockey Club LP is a professional hockey team founded in 1972 and based in Elmont, representing Long Island as its only major league professional sports franchise. Competing in the NHL’s Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference, the Islanders proudly boast four Stanley Cup titles and are home to nine Hockey Hall of Famers.
