Content Marketing Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Content Marketing Intern to join our marketing team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in content creation, marketing, and brand communication and design.

About the Role:

The primary responsibility of this role is to assist in developing high-quality, engaging content for various marketing channels. You will be an integral part of our marketing efforts, contributing to both content creation and strategic social media management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing high-quality, engaging content for various marketing channels.
• Work on diverse content-related projects, including auditing existing content.
• Support the production of email marketing campaigns.
• Write compelling short-form copy for various platforms.
• Contribute to the planning, scheduling, and management of social media content across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
• Craft compelling social media posts and engage effectively with followers.
• Monitor social media trends to inform content strategy.
• Research content marketing trends, emerging social media platforms, and industry best practices.

Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate will possess strong writing skills and a passion for storytelling across digital platforms. Familiarity with tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications:

• Strong interest in content creation, digital marketing, or related fields.
• Familiarity with visual design principles and basic graphic design tools such as Canva.
• A passion for social media is a plus.
• Comfortable using key social media platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
• Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills are essential to effectively work with the marketing team and contribute to various projects.

Location & Compensation:

• MUST be available to work onsite at our Minitab office in Chicago, IL.
• Remote work is not an option for this position.
• Pursuant to the Illinois pay transparency laws, Minitab is posting the hourly compensation for this position. At the time of posting, the Illinois payrate is $18.00/hr.
