Role & Program Title (Implied): Operations Finance Internship

Program Overview:
This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain real-world finance experience within the domestic Disney Experiences segment. It is structured as a full-time, six-month commitment, specifically from January 2026 – June 2026. The internship is located in the Anaheim, CA area. Participants will have a proactive role in a results-oriented, collaborative team, learning the reasoning behind business performance and contributing to key business decisions.

What You Will Do (Responsibilities):
As an Operations Finance Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in finance and data management, contributing to key business decisions through analytical work and identifying opportunities to drive results. The role offers a unique opportunity for growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Daily tasks are varied and rewarding, and may include:

Collaboration: Working closely with the Operations Finance and Revenue Management teams to develop a deep understanding of the business, providing necessary data, analytics, and actionable insights to inform and drive business decisions.
Reporting & Analysis: Generating regular reporting and conducting ad-hoc analyses using historical and current data. This includes identifying trends, spotting anomalies, and uncovering opportunities across various lines of business.
Data Visualization: Creating and maintaining data visualization dashboards, utilizing tools such as PowerBI or similar, to effectively deliver insights and enhance internal efficiencies.
Process Optimization: Contributing to the development and optimization of data processes and workflows within the team.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess a strong foundation in both technical and analytical skills, coupled with key personal attributes:

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, VBA or Power Query, SQL, Tableau or Power BI. Experience with one or more analytical tools (e.g., R, Python, etc.) is also required.
Analytical Skills: Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities, with experience in collecting, analyzing data, and effectively reporting on the results.
Problem-Solving: A natural curiosity and inquisitiveness, coupled with an enjoyment for solving complex problems.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Initiative: A self-starter mentality with demonstrated initiative, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following additional skills and experiences are preferred:

Presentation Skills: Previous experience in creating compelling PowerPoint decks for business recommendations, overviewing analysis findings, and/or sharing general information persuasively.
Statistical Analysis: Experience with statistical modeling and/or forecasting.

Education:
The internship is primarily for students who are:

Academic Level: Junior or Senior preferred.
Majors/Coursework: Major or previous coursework in Analytics, Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information:
Applicants must meet specific criteria to be eligible for the program:

Enrollment Status: Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
Previous Disney Programs: Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants are restricted to working for one consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
Work Authorization: Must possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information:

Availability: Candidates must be fully available to work full-time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) for the entire duration of the internship.
Work Location: This is primarily an on-site position in Anaheim, CA. However, it also requires a working, reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace for potential days working from home.
Housing & Transportation: Interns are responsible for providing their own housing and reliable transportation for the duration of the internship program in the Anaheim, CA area.
Compensation: The pay rate for this role in Anaheim, CA is $22.50 per hour.
