Sales Development Representative (intern) | HotTakes

The Tone:
This is an internship / early career role at HotTakes, located remotely. HotTakes is a free-to-play sports platform redefining engagement with sports predictions by making it interactive, social, and risk-free, connecting brands with new generations of sports fans. This role is crucial for driving user growth and brand visibility, directly contributing to the platform’s expansion within new communities and networks. It offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in sales, partnerships, and business development within a startup environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Growth: Drive user growth through outreach, referrals, and community engagement.
• Visibility: Identify opportunities to increase brand visibility within your market.
• Partnerships: Build relationships with student groups, communities, and local partners.
• Feedback: Share feedback and insights to support ongoing growth and strategy.
• Events: Plan and host social activations such as watch parties, bar events, sports league and fraternity fundraisers, and online events.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current university or college student, or early-career individual, with an interest in sales, partnerships, or entrepreneurship.
• Experience: Comfortable working independently in a flexible environment, demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Skills: Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for sports and sports culture.
