Job Title: Fund Accounting Internship

Overview of Fund Accounting Business Unit:
Our Fund Accounting business units function as a third-party intermediary, bridging the gap between fund managers and investors. The core responsibility involves verifying and distributing assets associated with various investments. The specific demands and industry of a fund can cause the role of a fund administrator to vary. These positions offer a valuable introduction to alternative investing and require close interaction with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Operations: Prepare cash and journal entries, including bank reconciliations. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and period-end closings.
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients through email correspondence and participation in calls.
• Audit Support: Participate in quarterly and annual audit functions.
• Transaction Processing: Process and meticulously track daily cash contributions and distributions for investment fund clients.
• Professional Development: Actively participate in structured Intern Programming focused on professional development, career progression, and presentation skills.
Minimum Requirements:
• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance with a strong accounting focus, or possess previous accounting internship experience.
• Career Interest: Demonstrate a strong interest in Fund Accounting as a career path.
• Academic Standing: Be a current Junior with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Work Ethic: Possess the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments concurrently, and navigate ambiguity effectively.
• Communication: Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Soft Skills: Demonstrated leadership, learning agility, and collaboration skills.
• Mindset: Maintain a customer-centric mindset.
• Analytical Skills: Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
