This role is for an Intern within the Inside Services Sales Organization at Agilent.

Purpose/Summary:
The internship is designed for individuals pursuing a science degree who are interested in a sales career. The intern will leverage their scientific background to support the inside services sales organization and participate in demand generation campaigns. The internship offers a well-rounded experience in sales operations, with time divided between a specific high-visibility project and other sales campaigns.

Responsibilities:
• Communicating with Agilent Services sales reps through email.
• Updating quotations for sales reps to follow up on.
• Tracking Campaign Success within a dashboard.
• Updating data in Agilent’s sales systems.
• Connecting Inside Sales teams to Service, Instrument, and Chemistries opportunities.
• Learning Agilent’s workflow solutions and expansive portfolio (including GC, GC-MS, LC, LC-MS, UV-Vis, FT-IR, ICP-MS, ICP-OES, AA, MP-AES, Consumables, Services, Software, etc.).

Qualifications:
• Completion of sophomore or junior year towards a BA/BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related science degree.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong interest in interacting directly with the Inside Sales Team.
• Excellent verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
• Strong professional demeanor and business acumen.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.

Logistics & Additional Details:
• Location: This position is not remote. All hires must report onsite to the Wilmington, Little Falls, DE location.
• Pay Rate: The intern pay rate is $30.69 – $32/hour, plus eligibility for paid holidays and medical benefits.
• Schedule: This is a part-time weekly schedule.
• Duration: The internship duration is 9-12 Months.
• Shift: Day shift.
• Travel Required: No travel is required for this position.
